Common Questions

Straight answers, no pressure.

What's the typical lead time for an order?

Most stock-color coil orders are ready for pickup or delivery within 24-48 hours. Orders in specialty colors or custom sizes may take longer — we'll confirm your timeline when you place the order.

Do you deliver, or is it pickup only?

We offer both. You can pick up at our Westfield, MA facility, or we can deliver throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey. Delivery pricing depends on distance and order size.

Do you have metal on the shelf I can drive in and pick up?

No — every order is made to your exact specs, and most are ready in 24-48 hours. You place your order, we roll your panels (and any custom trim) in-shop, then you pick up in Westfield or we deliver. We don't keep metal on racks — yours is made just for you.

Can you cut panels to custom lengths?

Yes — every panel is made to your exact specifications. We don't sell off-the-shelf lengths. If you need a 14'7" panel, that's exactly what you get.

Do you produce custom trim as well?

Yes. We fabricate custom trim pieces to match any profile — ridge caps, drip edge, rake trim, valley flashing, and more. Exact specifications, matched to your project.

Which profile should I choose?

It depends on your application and budget. Tuff Rib Ag is great for agricultural and budget-conscious residential projects. Standing Seam profiles offer concealed fasteners and a cleaner look. PBR is the go-to for commercial spans. We're happy to walk you through the options.

Should I put the screw in the rib, or in the flat plane beside the rib?

In the flat plane beside the rib — definitely not in the rib. A screw driven into the rib of a Tuff Rib Ag panel would crush and deform it, and a rounded rib top doesn't seal well. Tuff Rib Ag has a 9-inch rib-to-rib layout with about 7 inches of flat plane, and modern EPDM washers seal best right there, clamped tight with no panel deformation.
