Warranties & Coverage
Every panel we roll carries two layers of manufacturer protection: a warranty on the Galvalume metal, and a warranty on the paint system.
Two Warranties on Every Panel
All of our panels are roll formed from Galvalume steel coil — metal coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy that resists corrosion. That's the base, and it's covered by the Red Dot Galvalume 25-year metal warranty on every profile we make.
On top of that metal sits the paint. We use two different paint systems, and your profile determines which one applies:
- Tuff Rib Ag (glossy and textured finishes) and the Commercial PBR panel use Sherwin-Williams Weather XL paint — covered by the 40-year Weather XL paint warranty.
- Standing seam panels (Snap Lock with Striations and Nail Flange) use Sherwin-Williams Kynar paint — covered by the 40-year Kynar paint warranty.
Why the difference? Standing seam panels are formed with sharper, harder bends than our exposed-fastener profiles. That forming calls for a more flexible paint film that won't crack as the metal is bent — so the standing seam line uses Kynar, and with it, its own warranty.
These warranties are issued by Red Dot Products, the manufacturer of our Galvalume coil and paint systems. The PDFs below are the full, official warranty documents.
Red Dot Galvalume — 25-Year Limited Warranty
The warranty on the metal itself. Every panel we roll is made from Galvalume steel coil (an aluminum-zinc alloy coating), so this warranty applies to every profile we make.

- •Covers rupture, structural failure, or perforation of the Galvalume-coated steel due to normal atmospheric exposure

- •Excludes coastal saltwater environments and other aggressive corrosive atmospheres
Weather XL — 40-Year Limited Paint Warranty
The exterior paint system used on our exposed-fastener profiles. Sherwin-Williams Weather XL paint is on the Tuff Rib Ag glossy and textured finishes and the Commercial PBR panel.

Kynar — 40-Year Limited Paint Warranty
The exterior paint system on our standing seam panels. Standing seam metal is formed into sharper bends, so it uses a Sherwin-Williams Kynar paint — a more flexible film that won't crack when the panel is bent.

Warranty details, terms, and exclusions are set by the manufacturer. Keep your order paperwork and warranty documents with your records — claims must be reported to the manufacturer within 30 days of discovery and within the applicable warranty period.
